Qdoba Mexican Grill Selects Cloud-Based Platform for 250th Locale
Today Qdoba Mexican Grill has announced that it has reached its 250th site on the Envysion platform. Qdoba, the largest fast casual Mexican franchise in the United States, has expanded video usage to hundreds of users throughout the company to improve loss prevention, operations, marketing, product development efforts and ultimately restaurant-level profitability.
"From day one Envysion enabled us to drive improvements in operations, loss prevention and bottom-line profit. I'm pleased to say that we've seen sustained profit impact both because Envysion is continually developing new features and functionality that increase impact and also because we continue to find new ways to use and apply the video-driven insight Envysion delivers," says Scott Henry, it analyst at Qdoba.
"The Envysion system has been our corporate standard for years now, in part because Envysion's cloud-based model allows us to rapidly scale the system and is centrally administered and centrally managed, so we don't add overhead as we grow our restaurant base."
Using Envysion's powerful video-driven business intelligence platform, which integrates video and data from business systems like point of sale, Qdoba's loss prevention team has reduced the amount of fraudulent transactions, including unwarranted voids, comps, promos, discounts and refunds.
The operations team at Qdoba has also utilized the Envysion application to help lower cost of goods sold, increase paid transactions and average check amount and achieve greater adherence to operating procedures.
Finally, Qdoba has expanded video and exception reports to users in its marketing and product development teams. These departments have leveraged the unfiltered visibility provided by Envysion to evaluate new menu items in test restaurants to see who actually buys the new item, whether the item drives new traffic or incremental sales and if the item will cannibalize existing product sales.
Envysion, Inc., the leading Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS) provider.
