Pizza Kiosk Makes Canadian Debut
TFI, a provider of specialty food equipment, introduced the fully automated Pizza Forno oven at the Toronto Pizza Fest.
For more than 60 years, TFI has been a Canadian supplier of specialty foodservice equipment and programs. It works major foodservice operators and now Pizza Forno food equipment.
Pizza Forno, which combines the speed and ability to obtain pizzas 24/7 in 3 minutes or less, is already being used in Europe.
How it Works
Pizzerias choose their model, menu, pricing and ingredients. The 32-inch display can be customized with logos, images and videos.
The pizzas, pre-cooked, are deposited in the refrigerator. The cold room can hold up to 70 pizzas for 72 hours. The computer manages the inventory, their last date of consumption and cooking. When an order is placed the robotic tray extracts the selected pizza and positions it in front of the oven where it is cooked then automatically placed in the box for the consumer.
