Omni Hotels & Resorts Names Singleton CIO
Omni Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Kris Singleton as the new chief information officer for the luxury hotel brand. In this role, Singleton will help drive the company’s strategic business objectives by providing the enterprise-wide information technology (IT) vision and leadership for operating a reliable and stable infrastructure, fostering innovation to enhance guest services and operations, and leading the deployment and management of current and emerging technology products, services and systems across the organization. She will report to Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts.
A 24-year veteran of the technology industry, Singleton has more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently she was chief information officer for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas where she oversaw the technology strategy for the hotel, casino, pool district and other amenities associated with the property. Previously, she held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, including chief information officer and vice president of technology for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and IT vice president of business solutions for MGM Mirage. In addition, Singleton has also served as chief information officer for Chasm Industries, Inc., an electronic recycling company, and spent 15 years at Hallmark Cards, Inc.
Singleton earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a double major in computer information systems and management from Central Missouri State University. She is a member of the CIO Council, Hotel Technology Next Generation, Hotel Financial and Technology Professionals, as well as Newmarket and Guest-Tek Customer Advisory Boards.
