FreedomPay, a provider of secure commerce technology for lodging, gaming, retail, restaurants, stadiums and other hospitality merchants, said it was selected as the secure payment platform for 42 Nando’s locations across the United States. Nando’s, an international fast casual dining restaurant chain, is switching point of sale to Oracle MICROS Simphony and selected FreedomPay’s PCI-validated P2PE payment platform for a fully integrated solution.
The FreedomPay Commerce Platform, together with Oracle MICROS Simphony, is a fully integrated PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) solution, keeping customers’ data secure while working to combat chargebacks and eliminate potential fraudulent activity. In addition to combatting chargebacks, by partnering with FreedomPay, Nando’s will be able to increase their speed of service by offering customer facing EMV payment terminals and eliminating the need to hand cards to the cashier.
“By implementing Freedompay at our stores, we are continuing our focus of enhancing security to protect our guest’s credit card data while also improving speed of service and allowing additional payment methods such as Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay,” said Jeremy Nicholson, Director of IT for Nando’s US.
Nando’s is continuing to roll out stores in Illinois and the greater Washington D.C. area, including Maryland and Virginia and will continue to work with FreedomPay to enhance customer experiences and provide world class commerce solutions.
