At MURTEC Learn How to Make AI Effective
There’s a lot of talk and even TV commercials about the power of AI, but are you following best practices to yield maximum results?
MURTEC attendees will learn firsthand how to make AI effective from keynote speaker Todd Michaud.
Michaud, Founder & CEO, Power Thinking Media, will deliver the keynote address, “Making AI Effective”, on Wednesday, March 11 at 8:45 am.
AI is the latest shiny object in the world of technology and it's being hailed as the silver bullet to many of today's business challenges. But AI is much different than previous technology solutions to crest the hype mountain, says Michaud, who is a former VP of Information Technology at Focus Brands, as it requires a complete mind-shift about how we think about technology projects. In this session, he will explain that the traditional approach of implementing technology projects needs to be turned on its head. He will walk through the basics of AI ("AI for Dummies") and then discuss how AI can make real impacts on the restaurant today as well as it's no-hype potential for the future.
Indeed, restaurants see a lot of promise in AI. According to Hospitality Technology's 2019 Restaurant Technology Study, 44% of restaurants ranked AI as one of the top future-ready tech with near-term impact.
This is one of the dozens of educational sessions at MURTEC. Check out the full schedule of events here: https://www.murtec.com/2020/agenda.
