Linx Buys Restaurant Delivery Platform Neemo

Linx, a provider of retail software, has struck a deal for Neemo, known for its restaurant delivery platform.  The company is one of the pioneers in customized delivery solutions, through the integration of the establishment's delivery application and its e-commerce platform, offering consumers an omnichannel experience.

The omnichannel experience provided by Neemo also enables restaurants and their consumers to pick-up orders at the store, place orders at the table using QR Code and messaging services, such as Facebook Messenger.

The acquisition of Neemo reinforces Linx's cross-selling strategy, adding financial solutions to its other products, solutions and services. This purchase allows Linx to offer its own delivery management solution with products related to aggregate financial services, expanding the fintech Linx Pay Hub and reinforcing the Food Services vertical, says Linx.

For the acquisition, Brasil-based Linx will pay a total of BRL 17.6 million in cash and, additionally, subject to the achievement of financial and operational goals, for the years between 2021 to 2023, it will pay the amount of up to BRL 4.8 million.

Founded in 2010, Neemo is headquartered in Garça, Spain, and currently has around 47 employees.
