LG Expands Digital Signage Portfolio with Four New Product Offerings
LG Electronics debuts a broad range of interactive solutions with its latest line of digital signage monitors built to enhance interaction and the overall customer experience.
The first new LG digital signage concept is the prototype LG "Triple View" 47-inch class LCD panel. The Triple View allows consumers to view three different images or advertisements based upon their angle of view and is "Full HD" capable with a 1080x1920 (in portrait orientation) display resolution.
3D without the glasses
LG's True3D monitor presents customers with an interactive three-dimensional viewing experience but eliminates the need for special glasses. Model M4210D-B21 uses stereopsis to provide an engaging alternative to traditional digital signage. The 3D monitor has interactive elements and a compact 42-inch class screen with full HD 1920x1080 display resolution.
Flat and slim
Built for space-conscious retailers, LG's new 29-inch and 38-inch class "stretch screens" offer the latest in slim display technology (models M3800S and M2900S) and are roughly half the height of a traditional HD display.
Interactive touch
The 32-inch and 42-inch LCD Touch Screen models utilize interactive technology to provide access to unique programming for customers such as real-time weather reports and point-of-purchase transactions, online customer service and support. Scratch-resistant screens support the latest dispersive signal touch technology (DST) while both touch screens incorporate Super IPS panels offering a viewing angle of 178 degrees and 1366x768 (WXGA) display resolution that enable content to be viewed at almost any angle. LG Electronics has also made available its 42-inch class digital signage model with an integrated controller.
