Jimmy John’s Pilots Contactless Payment Solution
Verifone and Worldpay Inc. announced the pilot of a new EMV-grade contactless payment acceptance solution at Jimmy John’s.
The solution combines Worldpay’s fast and secure processing services with Verifone’s Engage P400 device so that Jimmy John’s can deliver more convenient, powerful and flexible payment options to its customers.

Jimmy John’s has been a long-standing partner with Worldpay Integrated Payments and will be an early adopter among Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) merchants as it has already begun testing Verifone’s EMV-grade contactless Engage P400 device.
Worldpay’s solution delivers an increased level of security to EMV contactless transactions, while Verifone’s P400, part of the Engage portfolio of devices, features a high-performance touchscreen with rich multimedia and commerce capabilities. Further capabilities include value-added services via mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay Smart Tap, which enhance the consumer experience for fast and highly-secure transactions.
