Jason Rembert Joins FoodMaven as CTO
FoodMaven has hired Jason Rembert to be its CTO. Rembert brings deep technology and leadership experience to the technologies that power the Colordao Springs, Colo., company's online marketplace and logistics model.
Rembert comes to FoodMaven from tech giant Oracle, where he was vp of software development for three years. Previously, Rembert led software development at Datalogix, which was bought by Oracle in 2014 for $1.3 billion. He brings many years of software development, cloud computing and big data experience and has led technology teams at several start-ups, including; Datalogix, Customer Science, Impower and Matchlogic. Rembert also made a financial investment in FoodMaven.
FoodMaven CEO Patrick Bultema touted Rembert as an important piece to scaling FoodMaven’s online experience. “We are developing a platform that works for all of our partners. Farmers, ranchers and restaurant owners that work with FoodMaven are able to seamlessly buy and sell on our marketplace in Colorado and beyond.
