Interactive iPad Menu Helps Guest Quickly Navigate Wine Lists
The Denver-based AccuBar has added to its beverage inventory management system an interactive wine menu that matches the design of an operator’s wine list, and then allows several options for customers to access it.
AccuBar's new module connects to its existing inventory management system to maintain the user's printed wine list and display it on an array of devices, from iPads and Android tablets to iPhones and other smartphones. The wine list will have full interactivity, allowing users to search by wine type, varietal, winery, region, price, ratings and other criteria. On the back-end, the company's barcode-enabled beverage management system seamlessly keeps the wine list updated across all these platforms and excludes out-of-stock items.
AccuBar also works with designers to style each customer’s lists to suit their demands. The result is a product that enables wine customers to tap potentially tap through a 1,000-item list in minutes to find that special wine or great bargain.
