Hooters Signs on with Scheduling Technology for Improved Forecasting

Hooters of America LLC has selected HotSchedules’ scheduling, labor management, compliance and employee engagement initiatives across its 208 corporate-owned stores with more than 15,000 employees. With the announcement, Hooters corporate joins four of its franchise groups that have leveraged HotSchedules since 2016.

“HotSchedules has been a trusted partner to the Hooters franchise community, providing a successful scheduling, engagement and labor management platform for our teams. We’re excited to extend our partnership and successfully drive an integrated program for our 15,000-plus managers and hourly employees across our corporate-owned stores,” said Karen Bird, CIO.

An on-and-off premise ordering business, Hooters was also looking for more visibility and predictability to manage the steady rise in ordering and third-party delivery operations. The company will roll out HotSchedules’ Activity-Based Forecasting Module, helping managers staff the right people in the right place, at the right time. Additionally, Hooters will leverage HotSchedules’ Time & Attendance Module to centralize its payroll administration process, saving managers countless hours on what are normally time-consuming tasks.

The advanced forecasting and labor optimization capabilities are going to help us better predict traffic volume to optimize staffing levels, take advantage of revenue opportunities, and consistently deliver a great experience for our guests,” said Bird.

Hooters of America LLC is the franchisor and operator of more than 425 Hooters restaurants in 39 states and 31 countries.
