Holland America Line Selects UIEvolution & VIDELIO-HMS for In-Cabin Entertainment
Holland America Line selected UIEvolution, Inc. and VIDELIO-HMS to deploy UIEvolution’s UIE ExperienceManager technology platform on the Nieuw Amsterdam. The ship’s in-stateroom TVs will be upgraded with a new interactive entertainment system, as well as a wide range of video, audio and onboard services, all while leveraging much of the existing network and ship infrastructure.
Holland America Line has made it a priority to create exciting, next-generation experiences to their passengers. Aligning with VIDELIO-HMS and UIEvolution, the company will be able to upgrade the ship’s in-room technology with their existing infrastructure, saving time and money but still providing a best-in-class solution for the ship. UIE ExperienceManager, a platform designed to manage video-on-demand (VOD), Live TV, music and ship services will be implemented offering Holland American Line the ability to create customizable real-time in-cabin entertainment and digital displays throughout the ship without the overhead of burdensome tool and video management.
