Hilton Worldwide Teams with SONIFI as Guest Entertainment Service Partner
Hilton Hotels Worldwide (HWI) has selected SONIFI Solutions as one of two preferred service partners to provide Content Services, such as DIRECTV Free-To-Guest (FTG) programming and On Demand Content.
With service in 1.4 million guest rooms worldwide and 30 years of experience, SONIFI offers the most comprehensive suite of solutions available to the hospitality industry, including unique, customizable interactive guest services. SONIFI will offer Hilton Worldwide properties across the United States its flagship STAY1000 enterprise solution, which not only delivers DIRECTV FTG programming, but includes a broad array of On Demand Content options. In addition to STAY1000, SONIFI will also offer the DIRECTV Residential Experience ("DRE") System which provides access to DIRECTV's programming, including more than 160 HD channels and premium sports and movie content.
The new agreement extends one of the longest-standing relationships in the hospitality industry. Over their nearly 15-year relationship, SONIFI has provided HWI with innovative in-room guest entertainment including the first-ever pay-per-view systems and, more recently, mobility solutions that let guests control their in-room televisions and view on demand content via mobile app.
