Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland Installs FlyteBoard for Guest Convenience
The Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland-Sacramento Area has installed Flyte Systems’ FlyteBoard airport flight arrival and departure information. FlyteBoard shows real-time airline flight information for Sacramento International Airport, boosting guests’ confidence in their travel plans.
“The majority of our guests are business travelers connected with companies based near our property who fly in and out of Sacramento International. Many guests stop me to say FlyteBoard is great because it gives them more time,” says Erik Burrow, general manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites Woodland Sacramento-Area. “I first saw FlyteBoard at an Embassy Suites near San Francisco International last year and wanted one for our hotel. We implemented our airport shuttle service in February when we installed the FlyteBoard and together they have made Park-N-Fly our most successful package.”
Burrow notes that many guests prefer to check their flight on the FlyteBoard rather than use the Hampton business center’s PCs. “FlyteBoard gives accurate flight information without guests having to open their laptops or log into a mobile website. In the past, guests frequently asked our front desk staff to verify flight times. Now they use the FlyteBoard. It is very convenient and I am recommending it our sister properties. Flyte Systems also added a national weather inset screen to our FlyteBoard so guests may check the climate at their destination and along their route. This is a valuable service for guests and I would recommend it for any airport hotel.”
Real-time flight information
Flyte Systems post accurate, real-time airline flight arrivals and departures, not FAA-regulated scheduled departure times that do not list delays caused by air traffic control, aircraft maintenance, crew availability, and weather.
