The Godfrey Hotel Boston Allows Guests to Open Doors Via Smartphone
The Godfrey Hotel Boston, Boston’s newest independent property modernizing how travelers view boutique hotels, is offering its guests the convenience of digital key room access via the OpenKey app.
OpenKey allows guests authorized and secure access to their hotel room from their smartphone or mobile device. Travelers have access to their room and additional conveniences to customize their stay via the app. The OpenKey technology platform can be implemented into the property’s existing BLE locks.
With the recent release of OpenKey Version 2.0, guests are able to manage their check-in, call the front desk directly, confirm their identity with an ID capture for security and send their estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the hotel.
“We want to provide the very best digital guest experience possible,” commented Justin Tait, director of operations at The Godfrey Hotel Boston. “The hotel industry is evolving and technology has a big role in that.”
The OpenKey app is available to download in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
