Five Guys Teams with PAR for POS Software Solution
Five Guys selected PAR Technology Corporation (PAR) as its software solutions partner. Five Guys plans to deploy PAR’s Brink POS software, PAR EverServ POS terminals, PAR Mobile Tablet 10’s, along with PAR’s software delivery and maintenance services for their 1,200 restaurants throughout North America.
Steve Teller, Project Manager at Five Guys, was a member of the team leading a comprehensive evaluation process to select a new point of sale solution for the entire brand, which included the formation of a Franchisee POS Task Force.
The cloud-based SaaS architecture of Brink POS is the “launch-pad technology allowing us to offer a complete solution for our brand that will easily adapt to changing demands,” according to Teller. “No longer do we need to keep our various technology platforms in silos. Not only is the implementation quick and easy with low upfront costs, it also creates real-time enterprise control of the entire chain.”
With the Brink POS solution, stores eliminate the need for a back-office server and no data is ever stored in-house. If connectivity issues arise, the POS software remains functional ensuring that customer service will not be jeopardized. The Brink POS Dashboard also allows management to view meaningfully organized reports from anywhere in the world. It also allows for the ability to setup a schedule of emailed reports to significantly reduce the time it takes to evaluate store performance and make quicker business decisions.
