eZee Integrates Its Restaurant POS Systems With Multiple Food Delivery Companies

eZee Technosys, a global hospitality technology provider, said it has integrated its restaurant POS systems with online food ordering portals: ZomatoFoodpandaSwiggy, and Uber Eats.

The company provides 2 different types of POS systems: eZee BurrP!, which is an on-premise restaurant POS software and eZee Optimus, which is a cloud-based restaurant management system. eZee also recently launched a restaurant POS app for tablets, helping restaurateurs manage their operations on-the-move.

Aeijaz Sodawala, CEO of eZee disclosed the main purpose behind this integration, “Generally restaurants find managing the online food portals a big mess. Handling multiple sites not only reduces productivity, but it also creates a high chance of errors. Hence, we thought of integrating online food ordering brands with our restaurant POS systems to make it simple to use for the restaurants.”

These days, when customers want to order food; they either visit a restaurant’s website or explore their options on these food ordering portals. The reason is - customers can find more than one restaurant with their menu, rates, reviews and other details on a single marketplace website. They can even compare which one is best for them, which reduces their time and the headache of installing or browsing different apps or websites.

Therefore, restaurants missing-out on such large platforms would be incurring a huge loss over their competitors. This is where this integration of eZee’s restaurant management software with food ordering systems plays a role and ensures that the restaurants will be able to attract online customers in large numbers.

Here’s how restaurants will benefit with this integration:

  • The restaurant POS will act as a centralized system, from where the restaurants would be able to see all the online orders as well as manage the guest database to promote offers and discounts on a special occasions.
  • It’ll help restaurants reduce manual errors as their operations will be automated.
  • Restaurateurs can check business detail reports to determine which online food ordering portals are providing the most profitable business.
  • This integration will provide restaurants an expenses guarantee from the connected channels in case of any delay, theft, or other mishaps happening during a food delivery. This way, restaurateurs can focus on providing the best customer satisfaction.
