CKE Renews Partnership with ArrowStream to Power its Supply Chain

CKE Restaurants Holdings Inc. has renewed its supply chain software license with ArrowStream.

The multi-unit restaurant operator, known for its Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Green Burrito and Red Burrito restaurant brands, has used Arrowstream’s OnDemand’s supply chain management for more than three years. With the preemptive audit feature, the Franklin, Tenn.-based CKE can identify pricing issues across its network and can work with its distribution partners to correct discrepancies. Insights gained have helped CKE identify opportunities to improve supplier collaboration, contract management and category spend management.

OnDemand “saves us both time and money,” said John Dunion, chief supply chain officer. Just last year, the software was “the cornerstone for detecting unpredictable and critical supply chain issues as we transitioned a large segment of our distribution system,” added Dunion.

The CKE system includes more than 3,875 restaurant locations in 44 states and 43 countries.
