Chicago's theWit to Join Roomlinx's Growing List of Hotel Partners
Roomlinx, Inc., the innovative supplier of hospitality in-room Interactive TV products, today announced that they have recently installed Roomlinx Interactive TV at seven hotels over the past eight weeks. Roomlinx Interactive TV is an entertainment and business solution geared towards increasing revenue and brand loyalty for hotels while offering a highly integrated media platform for customers.
Over the eight week span, Roomlinx spent time in Chicago installing six hotels, including theWit, a 4-star Doubletree hotel. The Bohemian Hotel in Savannah, GA also installed Roomlinx Interactive TV during the eight week period and is the second Kessler Collection installation for Roomlinx.
Hollywood movies, HSIA and more
Using Roomlinx Interactive TV, hotel guests can access Hollywood and specialty movies, high speed internet, traditional free-to-guest television, high-definition content, business tools, world radio and TV, and property information with the click of a button. For hotels, the Roomlinx Interactive TV product provides an effective strategy for new revenue streams, value-addition, brand loyalty and e-commerce.
Roomlinx' proprietary ad platform gives hotels a powerful tool for generating advertising revenue while at the same time offering guests a portal to local restaurants, services, attractions, maps and more from the comfort of their rooms. Hotels can also use the space designated for the ad platform to build brand loyalty and drive guests towards on-premise restaurants, gift shops, room service, reservations and event planning.
Chicago's newest 4-star hotel, theWit, recently implemented the Roomlinx Interactive TV product as part of their strategy to stay on the cutting edge of technology.
"The Roomlinx team has demonstrated the utmost care and professionalism in making the in-room media installation as smooth as possible. Roomlinx is clearly the product hotels will need to stay competitive; Roomlinx understands that guests demand not only on-demand movies but access to internet services as well as the ability to connect their own mobile devices. We look forward to a long relationship here together at theWit and hope to have Roomlinx included in every new project we do together," says theWit CTO, Darrin Pinkham.
The rapid expansion follows closely on the heels of Roomlinx' positioning as an approved supplier of interactive TV for InterContinental Hotels Group and IBM's "Hotel-in-a-Box" solution, which offers a suite of technologies to hotel managers.
