BookingTek Appoints Jenny Kurdle Senior VP, U.S.
BookingTek, a direct booking software provider for the hospitality industry, announced it appointed hospitality industry veteran Jenny Kurdle as its Senior Vice President (SVP), U.S. Kurdle will assume responsibility for BookingTek’s US operations and business development activities, and will be integral in leading the company’s growth in the United States.
Based in BookingTek's Washington D.C. Metro Center office, Kurdle joins BookingTek having spent 25 years at MICROS Systems (now Oracle Hospitality), where she was Executive VP, U.S. & Canada. The appointment signals BookingTek's ambition to grow rapidly and aggressively in the United States over the coming years as more hotels launch direct booking solutions for their meetings, restaurants, and additional services and facilities.
At MICROS Systems, a leading provider of enterprise applications for the hospitality and retail industries worldwide, Kurdle oversaw software, sales and service, and was responsible for $500 million of revenue. Leading a 2,000 strong workforce, Kurdle managed a portfolio of global Food & Beverage (F&B) and hotel clients and was instrumental in developing the strategy to drive business within multiple verticals including casinos, airports, stadiums and cruise ships.
The appointment follows fast on the heels of the launch of BookingTek’s new TableRes product, which allows hotels and restaurant chains to launch direct booking on their own websites. This marks the company’s ambition to target growth globally across a number of verticals in the online booking space.
