Biometrics & Facial Recognition: How Can They Benefit Hospitality?
During HT-NEXT, attendees will have the chance to listen to a series of 20-minute innovation labs meant to inspire thought about what is and what could be. One of these labs, titled: "Face First: The Next Generation of Facial Recognition & Authentic Service" will be hosted by John Miller, CEO of CaliBurger/Cali Group. Miller will detail how his company tests and iterates technology to achieve next-generation customer service. Miller will illustrate the here-and-now benefits of facial recognition as well as the potential of branded authentication services powered by biometrics. Miller will help attendees to imagine a world where guests can use their face to streamline service and access everywhere they go.
John Miller is CEO of Cali Group, a holding company focused on using new technologies to transform the restaurant and retail industries. Cali Group owns a global QSR restaurant chain, CaliBurger, and has major equity positions in five affiliated technology companies (Super League Gaming, FunWall, Miso Robotics, PoP, and Kitchen United). Prior to founding Cali Group in 2011, John was an early employee at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals.
