Bartech to Showcase Hotel Minibar Innovations at BDNY 2016

10/27/2016
Bartech, a provider of profit-generating automatic minibar solutions for the hospitality industry, said it will exhibit its latest minibar innovations at this year's upcoming Boutique Design New York (BDNY) show. Taking place November 13-14, at the Jacob K. Davits Convention Center in New York City, BDNY attendees visiting booth #1575 will have the opportunity to take part in live demonstrations of Bartech's innovative new standalone eTray, as well as the flexible Neotray guestroom vending solution, and the company's C41 and DD46 automatic minibars.

Bartech offers an array of choices in sensor technology, minibar to server communication, software innovations and customizable minibar design. The wireless eTray provides hoteliers with the ability to offer in-room products without requiring the coexistence of a traditional minibar. Equipped with a module that is directly integrated into the solution's electronics, the eTray's wireless ability vitally increases the possibility of offering retail products at lower prices; making items more appealing to guests while still ensuring a return on investment. Costing only one quarter of the price of a full minibar, the eTray is ideal for mid-range hotels seeking to promote non-refrigerated products such as bottled water, snacks or souvenirs.

Another flexible solution for displaying dry items in the guestroom is the Baretch Neotray. Providing three rows of five sensors to showcase products in a stylish case, Neotray comes with a see-through lid that can be tailored to reflect a clear, tinted or frosted appearance. Automatically unlocking upon guest check-in, the Neotray is a cost-effective alternative to traditional refrigerated minibars that can assist in increasing ROI and maximizing hotel profits.

The DD46 blends the best of fully automatic and guest convenience space together by providing hotel guests with the freedom of an in-room fridge for personal items, while still offering hoteliers the opportunity to benefit from in-room sales. Its design offers a total of 70 Liters and 2.5 cubic feet of storage, in which the left side of the DD46 is fully automatic and the right side is empty. The automatic side of the DD46 is fully controlled by Bartech's proprietary management software, allowing all items consumed to be tracked using either infrared, magnetic or micro-switch sensor technologies. The DD46 can also be offered as a fully manual minibar or with top dry selection space, and can be custom designed.

Bartech's exhibition of minibar products will also include the C41, currently used in thousands of guestrooms around the globe. The C41 minibar has gained widespread recognition from hospitality professionals due to its ability to integrate several technologies that are proven to increase profits, reduce energy consumption, and improve staff efficiency. Leveraging state-of-the-art inventory tracking software, the C41 also equips hoteliers with complete control over merchandize levels and billing.
