Angie Hospitality announced that it has named hospitality industry veteran David Millili as its Chief Executive Officer. David brings with him a wealth of experience accumulated more than 25 years in the hotel and travel industries and joins Angie at a pivotal time in the company’s growth and product innovation.
Angie Hospitality is the developer of a 24-hour interactive guest room assistant, room control, PBX/telephony, TV, mobile app, and Wi-Fi solution, built just for hotels. Demand for the company’s innovative and proven approach to touchless technology continues to accelerate as hotels become more reliant on contactless services and voice-activated technology to connect with guests, streamline operations, and improve safety and cleaning protocols in this new era of COVID-19.
“We’re thrilled to have this caliber of leadership to head up Angie as our hospitality customers reimagine the guest experience to prepare for rebound and recovery,” said Ted Helvey, Founder and Chairman, Angie Hospitality. “David is highly accomplished in all aspects of hotel technology, operations and management and joins Angie during a time of both business and product expansion.”
David most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Nomadix before he was asked to take the helm of its sister company, Angie Hospitality. Prior to that, David was CEO of Runtriz™, a leading developer of innovative mobile software solutions for hotels, resorts, and casinos. He also served as CEO and board member of Pegasus Solutions, a leading global technology provider for the hotel industry.
David founded and led Open Hospitality, one of the most prominent hotel internet marketing companies and was the co-founder of the highly successful startup, Timeless Hospitality. As a former hotel general manager in New York City and an advisor for several hospitality and travel companies, he has valuable experience in all aspects of hotel operations and guest experience.
"I am honored to be leading Angie Hospitality and spearheading all the exciting initiatives that the company has developed to help hoteliers adapt and thrive,” says David. “As hotels review their operations in this challenging new environment, Angie’s solutions open up opportunities for innovation, cost-savings and safety as they prepare to welcome back their guests.”
