Located in Edinburgh’s Old Town, and just moments away from Edinburgh Castle, the Virgin Hotels Edinburgh strikes a balance between classic design influences and a modern sense of self. Virgin Hotels is now leveraging its partnership with InnSpire to offer a fully integrated guestroom entertainment experience in each of its 54 Chambers and Suites. InnSpire’s InnSmart TV solution runs directly on the guestroom’s existing LG Hospitality Smart TVs, giving guests full control of their entertainment experience, including Casting, from the moment they cross the threshold.

Through its integration with InnSpire, guests of Virgin Hotels Edinburgh will be able to use InnSpire’s advanced television system, which integrates VDA’s smart room automation services to allow guests to adjust in-room lighting, thermostats and drapes. Guests can also use the smart television system to instantly access other property amenities such as the Virgin Hotels Marketplace, which integrates Agilysys’ POS system to allow guests to place room service orders and browse food and beverage promotions or contact property staff without leaving the comfort and safety of their rooms.
Operators also benefit from InnSpire’s API technology, which allows Virgin Hotels to integrate both Alice and Guestware software, permitting staff to manage and reply to guest reviews within the same dashboard. These systems create a more nimble operating environment and ensure Virgin Hotels Edinburgh’s staff are supported with the tools they need to maximize the guest experience.
