Trec2go Certifies Epson Smart POS Printer for Its Online Ordering Solutions
Epson America, Inc., a supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, announced that Trec2go, a provider of custom branded application and website ordering solutions, has selected Epson’s Omnilink TM-T88VI POS printer for its ePOS Print and Server Direct Print technologies to manage tasks as well as orders that come directly from customers’ smart phones and tablets. The integrated solution provides a seamless online ordering experience for hospitality businesses, material supply companies, private clubs, retail stores, and more. The joint solution is available from Trec2go today.
The Epson OmniLink TM-T88VI communicates wirelessly with Trec2go’s Order Receiving App for merchants so they can print incoming orders and add them to their queue. Unlike other app ordering solutions, with Trec2Go, employees do not need to manage two order queues. Instead, online orders can arrive in the same list as orders made in-store. It also supplies merchants’ customers with the option to receive a physical copy of the receipt in addition to Trec2go’s email notification receipt. Communication setup simply involves information input by Trec2go in either the Epson Printer app or Epson NetConfig, allowing merchants to begin receiving orders in minutes.
