TourConnect, the leading B2B communication for the travel industry, and TravelgateX have announced a new partnership that will pave the way for how the tourism industry processes bookings in the future. The partnership pairs TourConnect-AI’s innovative booking tools with TravelgateX’s industry leading integrated distribution platform. The combined solution will streamline the processing of booking-related inquiries while drastically reducing costs for buyers and sellers alike.
TourConnect-AI allows buyers and sellers to more efficiently perform manual booking tasks, like processing cancellations and reconciling invoices to bookings. TourConnect-AI’s email add-ins and chatbots will be able to instantly connect with buyer and seller booking systems via the integration with TravelgateX. This means that automated bookings can continue to flow through TravelgateX’s booking platform, while manually processed bookings (via email and phone) can utilize that same infrastructure via TourConnect-AI.

The solution is simple. Users can install TourConnect-AI’s email add-in which has the ability to identify a booking from an email or attachment. TourConnect-AI can then instantly pull up the booking’s details from the user’s booking system using the TravelgateX connection. Users can then take simple actions on the email which will automatically be updated in their booking system. The solution currently supports Outlook365 and Gmail. These same functions can be done using a chatbot within Microsoft Teams and Slack.
TourConnect estimates that 50-60% cost savings can be achieved on day one of implementing the solution. The solution can usually be set up in less than a day for existing TravelgateX buyers and sellers.
