Time Warner Cable Business Class Adds Another HD Video Solution for Hospitality
Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC), the business division of Time Warner Cable has announced the launch of HD Video for Hospitality across the greater New York City area, New York State, New England and the Carolinas. This new offering provides another option for hotels that are looking for an HD video solution.
HD Video for Hospitality enables hotels to upgrade to high-definition (HD) programming in a manner that is user-friendly for its customers and cost-effective for the hotel. HD Video for Hospitality includes extensive HD programming, an interactive program guide and free On Demand services.
The new service — which eliminates the need for a costly investment in headend equipment or the need to accommodate bulky in-room set-top boxes — is an extension of TWCBC’s growing HD Video for Hospitality portfolio of products and services, such as HDTV.
HDH presents a number of significant benefits:
Key features of the new service include a small box that is unobtrusively mounted on the back of each of the hotel’s HDTVs and an intuitive onscreen guide that can be customized with a hotel’s logo and brand colors. The hotel is able to control the customer experience through a portal that allows hotels to monitor each box utilized and set parental controls, if requested by a guest. With over 100 available channels, hotels can customize their lineup to best suit the needs of their clients by adding premium HD channels such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and Starz, music programming from MusicChoice, and highly desired select international channels. Hotels also have the option of adding the 26-channel Deluxe Hospitality Tier to provide even more programming choices for their guests.
