Texas Roadhouse Ensures Food Quality, Safety with Steton Software

Texas Roadhouse, a 282-unit casual dining concept based in Louisville, Kentucky, has selected Steton to provide software for its quality assurance and food-safety programs.

StetonÃ.‚¬™s software provides greater insight into operational performance and improved brand protection by enabling faster, more accurate audits to be conducted. Post audit, StetonÃ.‚¬™s software provides early trend identification, automatically generated real-time reports, instant notification of non-compliant issues, and comprehensive corrective-action management.

"A drop in food quality and safety measures is one of the fastest ways to destroy a brand. Steton's software and access to real-time reports will allow us to monitor and proactively target our training to certain areas," says Patrick Sterling, director of risk and administration for Texas Roadhouse.

With StetonÃ.‚¬™s software, Texas Roadhouse will be able to teach best practices and to ensure compliance to the brand's standards. The software will also allow Texas Roadhouse to auto-generate reports and issue alerts after the audits are completed.

According to Sterling, "With Steton, we can take a proactive stance on our performance versus finding out from a health department that we have problems. If an audit result falls below a pre-determined score, management is alerted immediately through Steton's automated system."
