Shopkeep's Pocket App Now Available on Android

11/29/2016
ShopKeep, the cloud-based technology solution that transforms an iPad into a connected cash register and is used by more than 23,000 small businesses, announced the launch of its Pocket App for Android. Pocket is a smartphone app enabling independent business owners the ability to monitor performance of their business in real-time, without being tethered to any physical store location. Now on both mobile iOS and Android systems, the Pocket App is available exclusively to ShopKeep’s customer base, which commands more than $3.5 billion dollars in annual transactions.

Using the Pocket App, merchants with Android smartphones can check business performance data in real time, at any time — all without having to log into the full back-office system. The mobility and convenience afforded by the app allows merchants to remain in sync with how their operations are doing from anywhere in the world, which is especially critical for busy merchants who can’t always be physically onsite as they work to grow their enterprise.

“Running an independent business, you can often find yourself needing to be in multiple places at once, which is why I find the remote visibility Pocket allows extremely valuable,” said David Crane, Owner of Williamsburg, Mo.-based Crane’s Country Store. “For me, the app is not only an extension of the value ShopKeep provides, but also indicative of how the company approaches innovation – always keeping the needs of small business owners like myself in mind.”
