Seven Suite, SiteMinder to Improve Hotel Efficiencies in Costa Rica as Electronic Invoicing Becomes Law

Months after becoming the first Costa Rican property management system (PMS) provider to ensure hotel compliance with the mandatory use of an electronic billing system, Seven Suite has partnered with the global hotel industry’s leading cloud platform, SiteMinder, to further operational efficiencies for local hoteliers.

The partnership involves the integration of Seven Suite’s front desk with SiteMinder’s channel manager, which will allow mutual hotel customers to streamline the distribution of their room rates and availabilities online and keep them continuously updated. In addition to reducing manual labor, the integrated setup offers hotels the ability to market themselves through SiteMinder’s partner network of more than 350 of the world’s top hotel booking channels to attract and reach more travellers online.

Seven Suite has gained a reputation for innovation as one the first PMS providers in Latin America to connect to the cloud. Their suite of hotel management products includes an inventory control system, point-of-sales, and booking software for tour operators, among a number of other products that have all been developed to help hoteliers manage their properties on the day-to-day. Earlier this year, Seven Suite was first to market with a tool for local hotels to comply with a new law mandating electronic invoices are shared with the Costa Rican Treasury, to improve the transparency of sales made in the country.
