RTI Develops Interface with Fintech
Through a new interface with Fintech, RTI clients can now receive electronic invoices from their liquor, beer, and wine distributors. The new enhancement works with RTI’s comprehensive back-office system, RTIconnect, and allows restaurant managers to use Fintech for facilitating the process of receiving invoices and processing payments for spirits purchases from a variety of distributors.
When the order is received by the restaurant, an electronic invoice that contains the exact details of the paper invoice created by the vendor is moved into Purchases in RTIconnect. Before a purchase is created, RTIconnect automatically verifies that all items on the invoice match the order guide.
Electronic invoices provide a more secure transaction than paper invoices, and, in addition to accuracy and security, eInvoices improve the efficiency of the invoicing process by eliminating the manual entry required to move the purchased alcohol into the restaurant’s inventory.
RTI will be a title sponsor of Hospitality Technology’s MURTEC 2014 (Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference) March 18–20 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The theme for the 2014 conference is “Restaurants 3.0: Keeping Pace with Rapid Innovation.”
RTI provides its back-office software, RTIconnect, to thousands of quick-service and fast-casual restaurants for food, labor, and cash controls and interfaces with more than 50 POS and food suppliers.
MURTEC is an elite conference of more than 550 technology, finance, and operations professionals in the restaurant industry, who gather for an intense peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and best practices, including keynotes, themed sessions, workshops, and more. Sponsorship is limited and restricted to businesses regarded for their technology innovations.
“RTI is truly excited to participate again in MURTEC,” said Greg Waddell, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for RTI. “MURTEC is labeled the ‘gold standard’ for restaurant technology insight, and we are looking forward to contributing our experience and expertise.”
This event marks the 19th year the conference has been held by Hospitality Technology magazine.
