Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui, Hawaii, has selected the Agilysys Eatec inventory and procurement system and the Agilysys InfoGenesis POS system to streamline operations and enhance guest service at the 486-room property.

"We really did our homework when selecting inventory and procurement and point-of-sale solutions for our property, and we had a detailed list of criteria," says Melody Jones, regional director of information systems for Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts, which owns and manages Royal Lahaina Resort. "After reviewing a number of solutions, we are confident that the Agilysys Eatec and Agilysys InfoGenesis systems have all the features and functionality we need. We are especially impressed with the openness of the solutions and their real-time reporting capabilities. Agilysys also offers these systems as hosted solutions, which enables us to eliminate maintenance costs and focus our resources on processes that affect the bottom line."

The Agilysys Eatec solution is a full-featured inventory and procurement system designed specifically for the foodservice and hospitality industries. Along with its core purchasing, inventory, recipe, forecasting, production and sales analysis functions, the system also offers modules for buffet management, catering, nutrition, retail management and cycle planning. The modular structure enables customers to construct the exact set of features they need – whether it is an enterprise-wide solution for multiple sites, or a single-site system for multiple functions. The Agilysys Eatec suite also offers more than 400 standard reports, which will allow Royal Lahaina Resort to make more informed and intelligent business decisions.

The Agilysys InfoGenesis POS system is an award-winning point-of-sale software solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with an easy-to-use touch-screen terminal application. Designed for multi-unit operations common in hospitality environments, the system can manage any combination of dining, bar service and retail operations. Features include real-time reporting capabilities, packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture, multi-language capability and advanced sorting, filtering and grouping options.
