Roxy Announces Interoperation with SkySwitch UCaaS Platform
Roxy, a speech-enabled device for hotels, announced full device interoperation capability with SkySwitch, a white-label UCaaS platform provider for telecom resellers. Roxy devices will now be able to work with any SkySwitch hosted PBX system and replace legacy phones in guest rooms.
As a provider for white-label resellers, SkySwitch is the platform powering hundreds of telephony providers. This means that the new relationship enables Roxy devices to work seamlessly with any of the many service providers offering SkySwitch-based systems.
Roxy is the speech-enabled in-room device built just for hotels. The device offers curated concierge services and makes it possible for guests to access the hotel’s information and services by simply asking a question. The device also offers functionality that enables it to replace the in-room phone, alarm clock, speaker, charging ports and compendium.
The SkySwitch announcement significantly increases the number of hotel PBX systems Roxy is able to interoperate with.
According to a recent case study published by Hospitality Technology, the integration of Roxy devices saved the new Jupiter NEXT Hotel in Portland, Oregon more than $11,000 in wiring and hardware costs. The cost savings potential makes Roxy an easy choice for any property looking to elevate the guest experience while simultaneously saving money on in-room devices.
With the new SkySwitch partnership, any hosted PBX provider operating on SkySwitch’s platform will be able to perform seamlessly with Roxy. This opens up Roxy to a large number of hotel telephony providers. Any hotel telephony provider operating on SkySwitch is invited to contact Roxy to discuss further potential partnership opportunities.
