Revelex Adds Revenue Stream for Travel Agents with New Cruise Tour Functionality

Revelex Corporation, a travel technology solutions provider for agents and vendors, announces that agents now have the ability to book pre- and post-cruise tours within a client's vacation package. Revelex's new cruise tour feature provides travel agents with an additional revenue stream while better servicing clients with a diversified portfolio of cruise offerings.

When scheduling a cruise vacation, agents using Revelex's point of sale site, POWER AGENT, can now simultaneously add a land tour, offered by the respective cruise line, to the client's cruise itinerary. This creates a package deal which is better designed to meet the client's needs. It also saves the agent time, eliminating the steps previously required to schedule tours. As a result, agents are able to increase profits by providing extended options while decreasing time spent on labor.
In addition to the 16 bookable cruise lines currently offered through Revelex's booking engine in the U.S. market, three major cruise lines are now under implementation and will be added to the system in 2009.

Earlier this year, Revelex added new cruise features to its booking engine, including faster, more interactive search enhancements for the cruise section of its signature product, POWER AGENT.
