Parminder Batra, Nicole Fessler Elected to Co-Chair of HTNG Staff Alert Technology Workgroup

TraknProtect CEO, Parminder Batra, and Nicole Fessler, Director of Risk Management at White Lodging Services Corporation, have been elected co-chair of HTNG Staff Alert Technology Workgroup.

HTNG Workgroups are comprised of key representatives of the members who meet regularly to solve industry challenges through a series of board-approved charters. At any given time, the association has 10-20 different groups in progress. The Staff Alert Technology Workgroup’s mandate is to identify available solution types on the market and desired feature sets; recommend best practices when selecting solutions and recommend opportunities to integrate emerging solutions with other solutions used either within facilities, or by public agencies.

Both women have garnered extensive experience in the hospitality industry with deep backgrounds in employee safety and employer liability issues. Fessler became White Lodging’s Risk Manager in 2003, and her responsibilities have since expanded to include OSHA, safety procedures, general liability, DOT compliance, emergency response procedures, and background/drug screening. Batra, a graduate of the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, used her experience in law and mediation to create TraknProtect in 2013, and the company has since become a leader in the provision of personal safety solutions for hotel employees.

In addition to solving industry challenges, the HTNG workgroups are designed as an opportunity to enable members to come together, interact and create strong customer, supplier and partner relationships.
