Gun Lake Casino Taps IGT for Integrated Casino Management Solution
Gun Lake Casino of Wayland, Mich. and its management partner Station Casinos have signed an agreement to install International Game Technology’s (IGT) fully integrated casino management solution. The agreement includes a complete suite of operator and player applications, IGT server-based technology and a majority share of games on the casino floor, including MegaJackpots themes. Gun Lake Casino is scheduled to open to the public on Feb. 11, 2011.
"IGT has a proven track record of performance and results at Station Casinos, and we knew Gun Lake would benefit from that experience," says David Frankhouser, assistant general manager for Gun Lake Casino and former corporate director of gaming operations for Station Casinos. "In particular, IGT's bonusing solutions have helped us increase revenue and drive player loyalty. We look forward to using their latest technologies at our newest property."
Gun Lake Casino will also feature IGT's server-based Tier One package, a lease-based offering that combines IGT Floor Manager with IGT's AVP machines, plus access to IGT's game library of high-performing themes. This powerful lineup gives Gun Lake Casino the ability to deploy its choice of more than 300 compelling game themes to the floor in a matter of seconds, to match the casino's needs. The Tier One package provides a bank-level, server-based game management solution, with the potential for an eventual floorwide conversion.
With the agreement comes a full range of operator applications that will streamline Gun Lake Casino's operations, including Machine Accounting and EZ Pay Ticketing. Gun Lake players club members will enjoy thrilling bonusing applications such as Xtra Credit, PointPlay and Carded Lucky Coin, which will be deployed floorwide on the sb NexGen II multimedia display.
