NetWaiter Improves Restaurant 'Social Widget'

NetWaiter enhanced its Social Widget feature, intending to make online marketing to local customers even easier for restaurants.
 
Several years ago NetWaiter introduced, as part of its marketing platform, a ‘Social Widget’ to allow restaurant owners and managers to post messages to customers visiting their online ordering site. Common posts from restaurants include information about daily specials (i.e. the Soup of Day), promotions, upcoming events, and new menu items.
 
Restaurateurs can now take advantage of the newly enhanced Social Widget, which connects to a restaurant’s Facebook page and Twitter feed. With this upgraded feature, restaurants can use their Social Widget to post messages to all of their sites at once. By linking their social media sites to their NetWaiter account, restaurants can simultaneously post one message to multiple platforms – Facebook, Twitter, their individual NetWaiter site, and myNetWaiter.
 
myNetWaiter is NetWaiter’s new user-centric site that allows visitors to view local restaurant info, find locations that deliver to them, and get daily updates from their Favorite places. Using their Social Widget, restaurants can send messages to customers in their area on myNetWaiter.
 
The newly enhanced version of NetWaiter’s Social Widget is immediately available. Restaurants can simply connect their social media accounts to NetWaiter within their Management Console.
