Restaurant Technology Network (RTN) has revealed its RTN Start-Up Alley Semi-Finalists. Seventeen brands have been selected by RTN’s panel of industry judges to participate in RTN's Start-Up Alley at MURTEC 2024.

Meet The 2024 Semi-Finalists 

  • Bite Ninja (YC S21), a tech startup that provides remote staffing capabilities to quick-service restaurants. 
  • ClearCOGS, technology that empowers restaurants to run more efficiently through its AI-powered demand planning system.
  • ConnectedFresh, a technology platform that cuts through chaos in food service, preventing equipment issues, food safety and compliance incidents, and costly human errors.  
  • Copliancy, a cutting-edge compliance management platform, specifically tailored for the restaurant industry.
  • Cyntra, holistic restaurant solutions that simplify staff management, boosting productivity during peak hours and facilitating smoother integration between kitchen and front-of-house operations.
  • Decise, experts in restaurant technology, digital marketing, blockchain & AI.
  • Devour, the platform transforming the digital dining experience, seamlessly integrating food ordering into the gaming, esports, and streaming worlds.
  • DLH, a streamlined platform with AI chat capability for consolidating loyalty, back of house, front of house and financials.
  • Expo, a solution that brings together all of a restaurant’s data, using AI to generate insights and action items for the operations team.  
  • EZ-Chow, front-of-house ordering technology platform that allows restaurants to have full control (including operations/branding/user-interface/menu management) over their multiple digital ordering channels.
  • MAVI.io, a full eCommerce marketplace on the dashboard of over 20M connected cars. Co-founded by 2023 Top Women in Restaurant Technology - Rising Star Cynthia Hollen
  • Pryze App, a platform that increases the productivity, profits, retention and employee happiness in companies with hourly workers.
  • Stellar Menus Inc., a digital menu platform, which is integrated into the POS, that tells restaurants when to change prices to maximize profits and boost revenue. 
  • Tab Commerce, a technology company building a 'Purchasing AI Copilot' for the restaurant industry that will help restaurants manage purchasing and control costs.
  • unPLUG Dining, an omni-channel suite for web, mobile, as well as the backend sales and menu dashboard and tools to arm IT, Operations, and Marketing teams with seamless tools and actionable insights.  
  • VOICEplug AI, solutions that empower restaurants to leverage the power of AI to improve customer experience, augment revenue and increase profitability.
  • Voosh, a technology solution that synthesizes data, offering a holistic approach to third-party delivery platforms, centralizes and automates feedback and recovers profits.

Meet The Judges

2024 RTN Start-Up Alley judges include: 

Samuel Langley, VP of IT TGI Fridays;  Kevin Bentley, VP, Head of Technology,  Jollibee Food Corp.; and Flavio Diomede, Director, Customer & Retail Technology,  Starbucks; and incumbent judges: Carissa De Santis, CTO, BRIX Holdings; Robert Notte, VP of Technology, MOD Pizza and Zerrick Pearson, CIO, Five Guys Enterprises.  RTN Start-Up Alley Presenting Sponsors are Comcast Business and Hellometer.

At MURTEC, March 11-13 in Las Vegas, the judges will rank  the 17 solutions on Level of Innovation, Practical Application, Ease of Implementation, Lifecycle and Wildcard (judges’ discretionary points). The judges will narrow the field to the top three, who will then take to the MURTEC stage to pitch their tech solutions to the MURTEC attendees, who will cast their votes in real-time to determine the winner.

RTN's Start-Up Alley made its debut at MURTEC 2020 in Las Vegas. Previous winners include PathSpot  (2020), and   Hellometer  (2022) and Landed   (2023).
