Lone Star Selects Labor Management Solution
Lone Star Texas Grill announces that it has installed TimeManagement Corporation's labor management system. Canadian-owned and operated since 1986, Lone Star Texas Grill is Canada's only authentic Texas restaurant. Known for its "down-home cooking," Lone Star operates 14 sites that serve steaks, ribs and award-winning fajitas.
According to Lone Star's Senior Project Manager Bob Macey, the goal of the project was to implement a simple yet robust work force management system. "From time capture to demand planning, we wanted to provide our operators with an integrated approach to labor planning," he explains. "TMx is everything we hoped forand the process with TimeManagement was fast and efficient from installation right on through to production."
The TMx solution integrates seamlessly with Lone Star's existing ADP payroll system. "We believe the integration will dramatically reduce payroll errors encountered during on-boarding and pay processing," Macey says. In addition, Macey says the regulation of "punches" against a schedule has cut out late starts and early exits. Further, forecasts are easy to understand and use so managers are better able to judge the fluctuations in business.
