London’s Tudor Court Hotel Achieves 40% Increase in Revenue via New PMS

Hotelogix, a provider of cloud-based Property Management Systems, said that its partnership with London-based Tudor Court Hotel has helped the hospitality property witness 40% increase in its revenue.

Built originally in the 1850s as a private residence, Tudor Court Hotel, an elegant Victorian-listed building has been tastefully transformed into a comfortable 38-room boutique hotel. The hotel provides a relaxing environment of calmness and tranquillity, allowing guests to enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stay normally associated with hotels in the countryside.

Prior to adopting Hotelogix cloud-based PMS, the management at Tudor Court Hotel was running the property’s operations using an on-premise PMS. “The PMS was not connected to a channel manager which is one of the most operationally imperative features for today’s hotel operations. It also didn’t allow us to set up multiple POSs. To be very precise, it restricted our growth in many ways,” said Kazi Rahman, General Manager at Tudor Court Hotel.

Speaking about the reason behind selecting Hotelogix, Rahman said, “We wanted a cloud-based PMS that could help us automate operations so that we could save time to serve our clients more efficiently. Plus, we also wanted a PMS that could help us with a seamless and real-time distribution of rates and rooms across OTAs. And our search ended with Hotelogix.”

Post successful implementation of Hotelogix PMS, over the last year, Tudor Court Hotel has seen many benefits including 40% increase in revenue comprising of 30% increase in OTA booking and a 10% increase in direct booking. “Another good part is that overbooking and operational errors have become zero now. It’s a real value-for-money deal,” Rahman added.
