Interface Security Systems Addresses IT Challenges at MURTEC

Interface Security Systems, a managed services provider delivering managed network, asset protection monitoring, and business intelligence solutions to distributed enterprises, is participating in the 2020 MURTECMURTEC unites tech-savvy and growth-oriented restaurant companies and gives them access to innovative thinkers and disruptive technologies to drive their businesses forward. Interface will be focusing on how it helps quick service restaurants and dine-in chains solve their IT and security pain points at its booth 38 at the conference from March 9 – 11, 2020 at the Paris casino in Las Vegas.

Interface will also be hosting a networking table discussion around the topic: “Leveraging emerging technologies to secure and scale your restaurant operations,” which will be led by Tom Hesterman, SVP of Products and Solutions, Interface Security Systems. During this discussion, participants will look at how restaurant IT and loss prevention technology leaders are often asked to streamline large numbers of locations with consistent technology while also facing cost pressures and small teams for support. The discussion will also focus on how to best leverage a managed service provider who is constantly evaluating new technologies and how they can be a valuable extension of the team. Specific technologies that will be discussed include 5G/wireless broadband, SD-WAN, the next phase of remote video surveillance with facial recognition technology, cloud video management and business intelligence applications such as POS exception reporting aimed at reducing lost profits.

“We’re heading into MURTEC 2020 this year focused on addressing the many security and IT challenges of the restaurant business,” said Michael Shaw, CEO, Interface Security Systems. “We have 25 years of experience in this specific market and are confident in how our fully managed services help restaurants and franchises consolidate technology vendors, streamline network and voice technology at scale, and protect employees, customers, and optimize businesses. This is a great opportunity for us to not only meet these tech-savvy companies one-on-one at our booth, but to also lead an informative and educational table discussion on the emerging technologies that will influence the industry.”

Aimed at simplifying the process to standardize restaurant locations, Interface offers PCI-DSS compliant network, Secure SD-WAN, guest Wi-Fi, wireless services, intrusion alarms, and voice services. The company’s remote interactive video monitoring solutions enable improved storefront performance while protecting assets and reducing point of sale losses.
