Ingenico ePayments, Casa Andina Partner to Offer Guests Multiple Payment Options

11/14/2016
Ingenico ePayments, the online and mobile commerce division of Ingenico Group, announced that it entered into an exclusive partnership with the Peruvian hotel chain Casa Andina. By partnering with Ingenico ePayments, Casa Andina aims to offer payment options that match regional preferences.

Casa Andina has 29 hotels located in 18 of Peru’s main tourist destinations. The company maintains three brands: Classic, Select and Private Collection hotels, all of which are designed to offer guests a taste of the local delights, including architecture, activities, food, music, and now payments.

Ingenico ePayments will offer exclusive full service payments to the entire hotel chain. Guests will be offered credit card and eWallet options as the initial partnership goes live, and over the next few months, new currencies and payment methods will be added, to ensure that guests have a broad range of options tailored to their payment preferences. With guests from many different countries all over the world, Ingenico’s portfolio of key local payment methods and cross-border processing capabilities help Casa Andina to increase their conversion rates. In addition, Ingenico ePayments will be offering Managed Fraud Services to Casa Andina, to help them maximize their revenues by managing their chargebacks and fraud prevention strategy.

Casa Andina operates three different brands, each with a distinct value proposition and target audience, so the company needed a payments partner that could manage such diverse requirements with a very comprehensive solution set. Furthermore, Ingenico ePayments implemented a multi-acquirer set-up for Casa Andina, to ensure that declined transactions are automatically rerouted to a second acquirer. This reduces frustration for customers and enhances conversion for Casa Andina.
