HyperActive Technologies Purchases Axoro Assets
HyperActive Technologies, Inc®., has announced an agreement to purchase the assets of Axoro, an international digital signage and communication solutions company based in Newport Beach, CA.
According to Joe Porfeli, CEO, HyperActive Technologies, the purchase of Axoro’s digital signage, content management and remote monitoring software for the retail, institutional and foodservice markets, will augment HyperActive Technologies’ innovation in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) and hospitality industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
HyperActive Technologies is the world’s leading technology company for the restaurant industry. Its innovations include HyperView® PE, the world’s most reliable order confirmation display, the HyperView PE 32” digital display, which offers superior graphic capability and longest-lasting backlight for operation in harsh environmental conditions, including temperatures from -40F to 158F, the QTimer® and DriveTime® Cloud drive-thru management tools, as well as interactive menu boards and kitchen production technologies.
“Axoro’s innovative products align with HyperActive Technologies’ digital outdoor menu and pre-sell boards, particularly since the technology platform delivers content that is necessary to provide a complete turnkey solution to meet the growing demands of our quick-service restaurant clients,” said Porfeli.
Axoro is recognized as a leader in digital communication solutions, serving national and international retail and hospitality brands. It recently expanded its market penetration with the opening of Axoro France in Paris.
HyperActive’s QSR brand partners can expect to benefit from Axoro’s elegant user interface, simplicity with popular point-of-sale (POS) systems, interactive touchscreen content capability, and utilization of Intel’s AIM real-time analytics for dynamic content based upon audience demographic.
“HyperActive Technologies already leads the market with its technology. This purchase provides us with the capabilities to accelerate our growth and innovative offerings to better serve the demands of our quick-service restaurant clients,” said Porfeli.
Combined with HyperActive Technologies’ recently launched HyperView 32” digital display, the transaction also provides the platform and skill sets for HyperActive to continue to expand the depth, breadth and scope of its offerings.
Since its launch in 2013, the HyperView PE has quickly become a go-to technology for brands and franchisees. This exclusive industry technology supplies both power and data over a single CAT5e cable, saving operators money by reducing electrical installation costs and extending the lifetime of the OCD by eliminating common breakpoints in the unit. HyperView PE also delivers the industry’s lowest cost of ownership.
“Axoro’s products can help QSR operators increase their drive-thru business, and under HyperActive’s ownership, both HyperActive Technologies and franchisees will gain the critical advantage in gaining efficient access to content and quick scalability for units,” said Axoro Principal Marc Pakbaz, who will serve as a consultant to HyperActive during the integration process.
HyperActive Technologies also announced a 35% increase in 2013 revenue vs. 2012, which was primarily driven by new product introduction and additional QSR brands selecting the company as a preferred provider of drive-thru solutions.
