Hyatt Partners to Increase Group Business to Hotels
Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels & Resorts establishes a strategic partnership with Cvent to develop additional group business through the vendor's supplier network. Hyatt has secured prominent placement for their hotels worldwide on the Cvent Supplier Network, an online directory of over 75,000 hotels, conference centers and unique event venues. Thousands of qualified meeting and event planners visit the Cvent Supplier Network and use Cvent's RFP management toolset for free to source their meetings and events. During the past 90 days 13,330 group meeting eRFPs have been sent through the supplier network.
Hyatt will offer rewards points and exclusive promotions to meeting planners that book group business through the Cvent Supplier Network. "From our perspective, Cvent supplier network planners are ideal customers as Hyatt hotels cater to the specific needs of meeting professionals and business travelers," says Gus Vonderheide, VP of sales-group for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. "As the group segment is the core of our business, the Cvent Supplier Network channel will provide direct access to Hyatt properties in key markets, convention destinations, airport locations and resort locales. Our partnership also ensures that these sales leads will be handled and responded to in an efficient manner."
