HT Announces IT Leadership Panel Participants for HT-NEXT 2021

IT executives from G6 Hospitality, Loews Hotels and Great Wolf Resorts will discuss current trends in technology that their companies are pursuing as well as some of their recent technology accomplishments.

In just a few weeks, IT leaders from the hotel industry will converge on the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Az. to enjoy four days of educational sessions and networking activities with their peers at HT-NEXT 2021. A hallmark of the event, and a perpetual favorite of attendees, is the IT Leadership Panel. 

This year, HT's Editor-in-Chief Robert Firpo-Cappiello will be joined on stage by IT executives from G6 Hospitality, Loews Hotels and Great Wolf Resorts to discuss the current trends in technology that their companies are pursuing as well as some of the recent technology accomplishments from the past year.

Brent Haines, VP of IT Product Development and Services, G6 Hospitality

Brent Haines is the Vice President, IT Product Development and Services of G6 Hospitality, the parent company of the iconic Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands. As Vice President, IT Product Development and Services, Brent is responsible for spearheading a diverse team that encompasses product development, mobility, voice and data operations, client services, end-user support, overseeing capital and operational budget for the IT enterprise and managing relationships with several key vendors.

Brent began his career in field operations for Motel 6 in 1991. He was later hand-selected to join the technology team to facilitate the development and deployment of the first property management system for the brand.

A seasoned leader with three decades of experience in property operations and advanced technology, Brent has a proven track record of identifying, developing and implementing technology and processes that improve experiences, drive revenue, reduce operational complexity and risk, and grow value within the brand.

Brent graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.A. in Decision Sciences.

Dan Kornick, CIO, Loews Hotels

Dan Kornick is the Chief Information Officer at Loews Hotels & Co in New York City, where he is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology including strategy, systems development, infrastructure, IT operations, internal customer support and working across the organization on the evolution of IT.  He is a Global digital and global technology leader with vast experience in multiple industries including Hospitality & Travel, Telecom and Financial services.

Prior to Loews, he has held CIO roles with TracFone Wireless, Wyndham Hotel Group and Cendant’s Vacation Rental Group in Europe. He has successfully led multiple business, technology and digital transformations focusing on the customer and team experience, while leveraging the investment in technology to achieve the overall objectives for the organizations.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, Dan currently serves as the Vice Chair of the HTNG Executive Leadership Group and currently is Co-President of the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Youth Chorus.

Ramki Srinivasan, CDO and SVP Digital, IT and Contact Centers, Great Wolf Resorts

Ramki Srinivasan leads Technology, Digital and Contact Centers teams at Great Wolf Resorts. His teams are responsible for leveraging technology to drive fantastic Guest and Pack Member experiences through all parts of the customer journey. Ramki brings close to  20 years of leadership experience in digital platforms, technology, e-commerce and personalized marketing. Most recently, Ramki led revenue management at Groupon for North America for a $2B portfolio. Prior to that, Ramki ran e-commerce for brands like Motorola Mobility, Kmart and Sears Auto. 

Ramki graduated from University of Madras in India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Hospitality Technology (HT) and Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG) are collaborating for the fifth year in a row to host HT-NEXT 2021, a unique conference for the hospitality technology industry. HT-NEXT 2021 will take place Dec. 13-16 at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Az.

HT-NEXT (https://www.ht-next.com) brings together hotel technology solution providers with leaders and influencers from leading hotel companies spanning IT, finance, marketing, distribution and operations. The event typically attracts nearly 500 hospitality professionals.
