HRS Group of Companies Hires Jay Upchurch to Lead HRS Americas

HRS (Hospitality & Retail Systems) announced the appointment of Jay Upchurch as Vice President and General Manager HRS Americas. Mr. Upchurch is a technology executive with more than 20 years’ experience building and leading global organizations. In this new role, Mr. Upchurch will be responsible for leading HRS Americas. HRS Americas represents HRS’s recent expansion into North, Central and South America.

Most recently, Mr. Upchurch served with Oracle Hospitality as Vice President of Strategy and Solutions Management, where he led worldwide teams across Hotel, Food & Beverage, Payments, Hardware and Global Alliances and Channels. He also held executive positions at Oracle Hospitality where he was responsible for global hosting, managed services and SaaS. Prior to joining Oracle Hospitality in 2014 (in connection with Oracle’s acquisition of MICROS Systems, Inc), Mr. Upchurch was CIO and SVP of Global Hosting & SaaS at MICROS Systems, Inc.
