Hilton Controls Labor Costs with Global Management System

Hilton Worldwide has chosen UniFocus’ Labor Management (LMS) and Time and Attendance (T&A) Systems to optimize its global labor management initiative.
The GLMS is designed to integrate workforce management technology throughout the Hilton organization to meet one of the company’s major strategic initiatives – controlling labor costs.  
UniFocus’ LMS provides all the flexibility and functionality that allows operators to ensure that the Center Of Operational Effectiveness’ work on developing comprehensive, optimized and effective standards across our properties worldwide is reflected in the technology.
Under the terms of the agreement, LMS will be installed across all Hilton Worldwide owned, leased and managed full-service properties in North America, as well as all international locations. Time and Attendance systems will be installed in all international locations, beginning with the United Kingdom properties this year.
Six successful pilots kicked off the program. Systems were implemented in the Waldorf Astoria New York, Hilton New York, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria Orlando Bonnet Creek, Hilton Glasgow and Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor.
UniFocus’ LMS provides a dynamic schedule editor for managers to make changes to system generated schedules and features an advanced interactive dashboard, allowing management to drill down and examine results at any level in the company structure.
The Time and Attendance system features cloud-based, real-time punch reporting and a communications portal, enabling employees to view schedules or make requests from anywhere with internet access. Additionally, it helps reduce overtime with innovative touch-screen Smart Clocks.
