Former OmniHotels Executive Named Chief Innovation & Engagement Officer for SalesBoost

SalesBoost, a software as a service (SaaS) sales training and coaching technology solution for the hospitality industry, announced the promotion of Andrea Christopherson today to the company's chief innovation and engagement officer, according to Gretta Brooks, founder, and CEO of SalesBoost, LLC.

SalesBoost is a web-based, on-demand sales development tool that provides unlimited sales scenario simulation and immediate feedback to improve sales effectiveness.   The training is self-paced and designed in a micro-learning format, an adult learning technique that delivers role-based content in short, easily-digestible, segments.

Christopherson’s duties at SalesBoost include developing and designing the company's sales training and coaching technology solution along with the continuous new course curriculum to ensure clients achieve their business objectives. She currently leads SalesBoost's marketing and partnership strategies, overseeing SalesBoost’s 30 team members throughout the country.

Christopherson is a long time hospitality executive, most recently with Omni Hotels & Resorts, where she was responsible for managing sales training for the brand, the sales recognition program and corporate sales & marketing initiatives, including the launch of Omni Meetings University, the first hotel-branded interactive, educational certification program for meeting planners.

SalesBoost currently works with ClubCorp, Benchmark Hospitality, Million Air Dallas, Zachary Hospitality, Aimbridge Hospitality as well as individual hotels including Kimpton Hotel VanZandt, Westin Galleria Dallas, and independent sales professionals.

SalesBoost leverages technology to fill the gap in learning retention and adoption of new skills. It provides an engaging solution for sales professionals to tap into relevant, role-based content that is on-demand and available on any device. Sales Professionals can access content that is meaningful to them, learn quickly, and practice real-world selling scenarios to be prepared for any situation.

Prior to Omni, Ms. Christopherson was with Hilton Hotels Worldwide, Wyndham International, and Wyndham Hotel Group in various sales & marketing, human resource and talent acquisition roles. She also served as a board member of the Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau.
