Geneva-based Foodetective Businesslaunches its public API and developer portal.

Foodetective’s API offers seamless platform integrations and greater capabilities for third party apps and independent software developers around the world. Through the portal, Foodetective now provides developers with a single layer of software which enables them to seamlessly integrate with the entire industry. Developers globally can consume and integrate Foodetective products (integrations, delivery management, reservations management, stock management, payments, review & presence management, web, procurement & more) to make their restaurants' clients lives much easier.

Restaurant Technology Network Reveals Open API Framework

For the consuming developers this means a reduction in the dependency between development teams, decrease in implementation time and added value for their customers.  With 100+ partners integrated across verticals such as point of sale (POS), delivery aggregators, social media, CRM, Inventory, finances, among others; the public API will further enhance the development of new applications beyond those currently available, such as waste management, human resources, or customer loyalty. With partners already on the waiting list, It expects to double the available integrations by the end of the year.

Integrations with other systems are driving POS purchase decisions for 86% of restaurants, according to HT's 2022 POS Software Trends Report

This news goes in line with Foodetective’s recently announced licensing rollout. Offering any players in the industry from ambitious start-ups to corporates to use its top-notch technology in order to power restaurants and merchants at a global scale. Delivering new digital services to meet customer and market expectations. You can find information on Foodetective’s features and how to integrate a solution here
