Digital Rewards Help Which Wich Rewards Program see 250% Increase in Registrations
Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is a national fast-casual franchise chain with 400 locations open or in development in 39 states and eight countries. Which Wich needed to create a rewards program that could scale across all its restaurants and that would integrate with its POS and online ordering systems. The goal for the system-wide program was to deliver value to franchisees while delivering an exceptional guest experience that accentuates the overall brand.
In October 2015, Which Wich rolled out its Vibe Club™ Rewards program across all of its 400 locations. Which Wich chose a simple-to-understand program that would enable it to capture insightful member data. This empowered restaurant franchisees with the ability to localize marketing messages—targeted engagement of loyalty members, leveraging tools built into the Paytronix Reward Program software.
Guests were able to quickly recognize the value proposition and join the program, earning points for each type of item purchased as they worked toward the promise of a free 7” Wich. Guests earn and can redeem rewards when ordering online, too, with direct integration to the online ordering platform and the Which Wich mobile app.
The results of the program drove immediate enrollments chain-wide in the Vibe Club Rewards program. In just two months, total same-store registration counts skyrocketed by more than 250%. Penetration rate rose to reach more than 35% of the Which Wich customer base (number of Vibe Club Rewards checks as a percentage of overall checks).
Most importantly, Which Wich saw a direct spike in visits.
